Before your first solo, you will need to get your FAA Medical Certificate. Below is a list of doctors in San Diego County that can perform the exam. The pricing and hours of each doctor varies so contact them directly for details. Prior to your appointment you will need to follow the five steps below in order to prepare for your appointment.
1. Connect to MedXPress at https://medxpress.faa.gov
2. Create an account or login using your existing account
3. Enter your medical application data
4. Submit your application
5. Print summary sheet
6. Give the summary sheet with your confirmation number to your AME at your appointment.
